Make a Difference in someone's life
Many times we want to help, to do something but don't know how to get involved or even if money we donate really gets to the people that need it. I've become aware of some very needed items for some very worthy people - children and disabled adults in the central Illinois area. If you can help, bring the items to Orbit and I will hand deliver them. Sandra Levin

65 Children need clothing, sizes kindergarten to 6th grade including boys x-large for a school in Central Illinois. These kids wear flip flops in the winter and only eat breakfast and lunch which are served at the elementary school. All season clothing accepted.
Boxes will be in the lobby to deposit clothing items.
Computers needed for disabled adults in group home at the Tazwood Mental Health Center in Pekin, Illinois
Mentally ill and developmentally delayed residential adults are trying to take computer classes and learn basic computer skills on one old computer. 10 adults at a time are grouped around this one computer and some of the adults have to wait 6 months before it's their turn to get into the class. If we donate some used computers, a network expert has offered to hook up a computer lab so they can have a classroom to work in.
Items needed - desktops with Windows 98 or XP operating systems, we have enough monitors, printers, scanners and other parts, just need the actual computers now! thanks for the generous donations!
