Lessons and Classes Planet Skate Team Rainbo How do you Skate?

Skates or
Inlines?
People always ask, should I begin on inline or regular roller skates? We suggest beginning on regular skates and then progressing to inlines if you really wish to. Regular or 'quad' skates as they are known now have a wider balance point and are easier to learn. If you have been an ice skater all your life, you might find inline skates easier to begin with.

Did you know..
Roller skating competition is similar to ice skating competition and participates in the Pan American Games and the World Games. Speed, Hockey and Artistic Skating is done all over the world and our governing body is constantly striving to make it part of the summer Olympics.

There are college scholarships available for roller skaters that compete as well as children of employees that work at roller rinks.

Roller Skating competion is done all over the world.
