Carl plays the organ at The Orbit the first Sunday of each month 7-10pm

Carl first began playing for roller skating in the early 70's at the Westmont Skating Center in Westmont, Illinois. Carl had the great privilege of studying organ under two rink organists -- Tony Tallman, organist at The Elm, as well as Dave Paradis, organist at The Axle in Countryside.

Trained in theatre-style organ playing, Carl has played the organs at the Chicago Theatre, Medinah Temple, Orchestra Hall and the Coronado Theatre in Rockford for various functions and events. He is also no stranger to liturgical music having served as organist at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Riverside, Illinois, as well as Music Director at Unity Church of Oak Park.

Also, an accomplished pianist and vocalist, Carl performs with musical partner, Ms. Kenned MacIver. Together, they have performed in a variety of venues including Chicago's Grant Park for Aids Walk '92, The Park West, Fitzgerald's, Philander's in Oak Park, country clubs and various corporate and private events.

Carl is delighted to be the organist at The Orbit Skate Center, as well as substitute organist for Frank Pellico at the Aurora Skate Center.
