Orbit Skate Center is the best place to roller skate in the Northwest Suburbs. Located 28 miles north of Chicago. Not many roller rinks have huge half acre wood floors for family skating! We have public sessions, classes and lessons to learn to skate, birthday parties for children, teens, adults and private parties for any occasion. Wednesday and Friday 1-4pm sessions are done for the summer. We still have Thursday morning 10am-12pm open.
We are open Friday, 9/3/10 and Saturday, 9/4/10 Regular hours. We will not be open on Sunday 9/5 or Monday 9/6 for the Labor Day holiday.

Thursday Night Organ Music 7-10pm and New 6-7pm Class
This has been such a popular session, we've decided to continue into Fall! Skating to live organ music is an experience for all ages and Carl DeSanti is an accomplished keyboardist known all over Chicago. Come skate to the music that skaters have loved for generations with upbeat tempos and tunes you will recognize. Requests are welcome, hear everything from the 40's - Today!
Admission is $8 for skaters and $4 for spectators.
New! Quad Skate Class 6-7pm to learn the session specials like the Backwards Strut, Conga, Romp, Foxtrot, Waltz and more. Taught by our professional teachers, you will learn all the basic steps that make skating to live music so much fun. Be able to skate forwards please. Backward skating skills will be covered.
The more you skate, the better you get so don't think there's an expert button on the bottom of your skates and come take the class and skate the session! Class fee $7 and begins in September, watch for start date.
